The Rebirth of Experience(s).

You guys, I am so excited about this space!

I know that I am that friend who’s always doing something new but honestly what are we given this life for - if for not to explore every idea and curiosity we have? I think many of the things in the past have been a distraction from a call to do the real work I am here to do yet it’s all part of the journey.

I have been teaching now in some form or fashion for over a decade, but it was in teaching my littles where I started to see something MIGHTY.

I LOVE TEACHING, even moreso - I love how I learn as I teach.

For a very long time I have wanted to create a space to share what I am personally learning while teaching, new ideas as well as , my research and mindset when it comes to child led learning. because all of it matters. Now, more than ever. There’s more on the about page if you’re curious about me and my why but truly this isn’t about me.

This won’t be a long post but I wanted to give you a sense of what I am creating here, hopefully what we’re creating together.

Welcome to Mighty Oak Learning - a place to share ideas, research, resources, creativity and learning in early childhood development rooted in nature.

I have SOOOOOO many plans but first I had to find the nerve to press publish.

If you have young children, teach young children or want to, or are just a person who believes - like me - that experience is our greatest teacher than you’re in the right place.

Stay tuned and thank you for being here.
